Principal Accountabilities

  1. Developing strategic plans and policies of KINIHIRA Provincial Hospital which must be approved by Health Committee, coordinating and overseeing their implementation;
  2. Promoting and protecting KINIHIRA Provincial Hospital interests while its corporate brand,
  3. Overseeing design, marketing, promotion, delivery and quality of programs, products and services;
  4. Preparing a draft of yearly budget for Health Commitee’s approval before its submission to competent organs,
  5. Approving and overseeing efficient and effective management and utilization of finances, infrastructure and human resources of KINIHIRA Provincial Hospital.
  6. Preparing and overseeing mobilization strategies of resources, planning and implementation of its strategies, including identifying resource requirements, researching funding sources, establishing strategies to attract partners and managing all documentation relating to resources mobilization.
  7. Effectively managing the staff of KINIHIRA Provincial Hospital according to human resources management policies approved with accordance to existing laws and regulations;
  8. Implementing policy and programmes of KINIHIRA Provincial Hospital;
  9. Serving as link between KINIHIRA Provincial Hospital Health Commitee, supervising Ministry and national or international institution with the same objectives;
  10. Informing in writing, to Health Committee the progress and the activities of KINIHIRA Provincial Hospital at least once a term
  11. To represent KINIHIRA Provincial Hospital directorate before the law;
  12. Lead KINIHIRA Provincial Hospital management committee;
  13. Supervision of all accreditation committees.
  14. The Director General of KINIHIRA Provincial Hospital reports to the Health Commitee and to the Mayor or District Executive Administrator of Rulindo district.
